What I’m about to describe can be defined as: Architecture as Paradox within the Urban Complex – and can be subtitled: Architecture where Universality and Multiculturalism are Juxtaposed – Universality constantly engaging the Technology of Form – and Multiculturalism variously engaging Symbolism on Surface – this latter element to Create Community via Communication – all for a Mannerist Era.
Concerning Multiculturalism, of course, much is written today about cultural diversity, pluralism, interaction and context: let us now create an architecture that explicitly accommodates it all – Ethnic, High, and Pop cultures – within an urban context.
